So we have been looking long and hard a ways to offer the children more whilst keeping the pressure off the parents bank balances. This is never easy as I’m sure many of you will be aware. Regardless of what we offer at group we have to cover the cost of the hall and the cost of refreshments every week and that is why we have to ask the parents to pay to come to the group.
So Nicola and I have been putting our thinking caps on and trying to come up with a plan. The first plan was to win the lottery and build our own home ed hall where we would offer courses and experiences galore. However this is quite a difficult plan to implement as no one will tell us the winning lottery numbers.
And so it was onto plan B. We have set ourselves up on crowd funding. We have asked people to pledge any amount they can to help us cover rent costs for the year and help us to give these wonderful young people the experiences they deserve at The Tuesday Project. We only get the money if enough people pledge and we get to our target of £750 so please people share far and wide.
All pledges are met with rewards depending on the level of pledge, anything from a thank you card to a photo shoot. Click the link below to find out more. And remember if you have skill you would love to share with the next generation get in touch and we can organise a workshop.
